Tea Ceremony Demonstration at High School

Tea ceremony demonstratin at Cortland HS in New City, NY

We had an opportunity to introduce Tea Ceremony at Cortland HS on last December.

We did have almost 20 students, they helped and demonstrate as an host, too.

One of students, she impressed the word of "Ichigo Ichie" ”一期一会” when she visited in Kyoto,Japan.

That means, "One time One meeting is so incredible opportunity. and it will not happen again"

Yes, the time is so precious, it will not happen again together.

It will not happen the exactly same again, like the taste of Matcha,, people's face, and all environment, and vibes.....

That is we like to have an experience together, and feel it together, and will not forget it or remind it sometime in the future.

What is the moment of Tea Ceremony,,, that is a feeling of your self, and feeling of all around you.

We do not have to have any knowledge about tea,,,

just feel it. That is a core spirit of Tea Ceremony,,,
