Morning Ikebana routine

My post content
This morning, I woke up feeling a little heavy.
Maybe it was the rising summer heat.
Maybe my mind was already thinking about everything I needed to do.
Normally, my mornings are busy, and I rarely make time for ikebana.
But today, I chose differently.
I paused.
Picked up a few flowers.
And began arranging them, one stem at a time.
Unlike simply placing flowers in a vase, ikebana invites you into a conversation with each branch and bloom.
You observe.
You listen.
You find where each flower truly belongs.
As my hands slowed down, my mind became quiet.
By the time I finished, the heaviness had disappeared.
I felt clear, grounded, and ready for the day.
Sometimes, we don't need to do more.
We simply need to create a moment of stillness.
I feel grateful that this beautiful Japanese art is part of my everyday life.
🌿 I think I'll make ikebana part of my morning ritual.
